Coloring tips

Apply light strokes on the neck muscles to give the horse dimension. Do not forget to add darker shades on the hooves for a realistic effect. Use circular movements to color the body without leaving white marks.

Color ideas

Opt for a chestnut coat with golden highlights or a deep bay coat. Do not hesitate to choose a bright color for the halter and the bridle accessories.

Extra activity

Look for photos of different horse breeds in a book and try to reproduce the coat markings observed on your own drawing. You can also invent a name for this horse and tell its story to a loved one.
