Coloring tips

Start with the darkest areas of the forest to create a mysterious atmosphere before brightening the details. Use gradients of navy blue and purple to give depth to the dark corners of the setting. Do not forget to clearly outline the character to make it stand out against the wild vegetation.

Color ideas

Favor nocturnal tones like midnight blue, dark fir, and anthracite gray. Add touches of vibrant yellow for light sources or the eyes of hidden creatures.

Extra activity

Invent a short story about the main challenge your character must face to survive their first night in the forest. You can even draw a small extra survival accessory next to the hero.
